The Halton Waste Management Site (HWMS) provides Halton residents with a convenient one-stop location for the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), waste disposal, and more.
Before you visit the location please:
- Sort loads by material type
- Remove all fluids from gas-powered equipment
- Customers must make their own arrangements to unload heavy material. For health and safety reasons, Container Station Attendants are not permitted to assist customers with unloading any material
- Empty oil drums and tanks and cut them in half
- Secure open loads with a tarp or rope

All loads must pass over the scale and be weighed before disposing of your waste items. Separate all items into the appropriate areas. Look for the signs to be sure you are putting the waste into the correct area.
Failure to comply with the facility protocols may result in additional clean-up charges. Second offenders will be denied access to the site.
